Spanish playmaker Alejandro Pozuelo has been named MLS player of the week after scoring two goals and setting up another in Toronto FC’s 4-3 win over Minnesota United on Friday night.

The attacking midfielder scored his two goals in a span of 110 seconds – setting a club record for fastest brace – in the 28th and 30th minute, then assisted on Jordan Hamilton’s winning goal in the 79th minute.

Pozuelo has four goals and five assists in four games for Toronto.

Pozuelo was also named to the MLS team of the week, as he was for Week 5.
