The Action: This three-storey residence was among many mansions near Rosedale Golf Club that lingered on the market early in 2017. So a different set of agents were brought in and they staged and relisted the home at $7.75-million. An acceptable bid was quickly registered in October.
"We were looking for a buyer upsizing, maybe not in terms of size, but the location and prestige of the street," said agent Christian Vermast, who notes the street is home to esteemed figures, including Four Seasons hotelier Isadore Sharp.
"We had about eight [visiting] parties … which for that price point is quite a bit in a week."

"The back garden was quite modern in contrast to the interior of the house," Mr. Vermast said. "It's not typical because it's quite spectacular."
