IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The most important thing for you over the coming year is that you stand up for yourself both in your private life and at work. Sometimes you can be too nice for your own good, so put your own needs first for a change. You’ll feel better for it.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

The people you have to deal with today, both at home and at work, will be rather demanding and there may be times when you come close to losing your temper. Maybe you should. Maybe that’s what is needed to make them see sense.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

There is really no such thing as coincidence in life and something that appears to be a random event today is actually part of a much bigger plan. Try to work out what that plan might be – it could make life so much easier to deal with.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

This is a great time for creative activities and you must not let anyone tell you that what you are dreaming of cannot be done. That may be true for them but it is not true for you. Where Gemini is concerned not even the sky is the limit.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

It may at times be hard to control your feelings but control them you must or you might say something you later regret. The sun in Libra at this time of year can make you rather emotional, so make allowances for other people, and for yourself.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

This is both a busy and an enjoyable time for you but there is a danger that you could do too much and burn yourself out. You cannot party until the early hours then get up bright and fresh the next morning for work. Not every day anyway!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

This is an important time of year for money matters and business issues, and if you need to find ways to earn more or spend less – or maybe both – now is the time to put your thinking cap on and come up with some serious answers.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Things are going well for you at the moment but you are doing so many things on so many levels that you may wish that life was a bit more relaxed. A few weeks ago you were lamenting that life was too quiet. You’re never satisfied Libra!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

There may be times when it feels as if the world is against you, but if you remain positive of mind and busy of body you will get through this phase unscathed. It’s quite natural to feel low occasionally, so don’t make a big issue of it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You rarely lack for courage and confidence but you need to realize that those attributes alone won’t get you where you need to go or get you what you want to possess. Common sense is a factor too. How much of that do you have?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Career-wise so much is possible for you now, but a lot will depend on how well you can focus your power on a single target or goal. Don’t scatter your energy and your thoughts in so many directions that you end up achieving nothing.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

Cosmic activity in the sympathetic sign of Libra will give your confidence a boost today, not that you really need it! Be creative by all means but start thinking about your next vacation, too. Where might be nice at this time of year?

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

You may be of the opinion that if you ignore a problem long enough it will go away of its own accord but that isn’t going to happen, so wise up and do something specific that starts the process of change. It’s up to you to make things happen.
