IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The planets warn that with so many amazing plans in your mind you run the risk of spreading yourself too thin. You have only so much time and energy to spare, so be selective and only do what really matters in the present moment.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

Why have you retreated into your shell? It’s not like you to shut yourself off from the world and if you refuse to get out and about and interact with friends and family they may start to worry about you. Let them know you’re okay.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You could make an issue of something that annoys you but is it worth the effort? No, it’s not. There are so many things going well for you now that minor setbacks can be safely ignored. Don’t waste your time on people who think and act small.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

Something that once seemed beyond you is now within your grasp and at some stage today you must reach out and take it. But don’t hold on to it too tightly. The less possessive you are about material things the more of them you will enjoy.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

If a friend or family member is sending out signals that they don’t want you to get too close you must respect their wishes. You may not understand why they are refusing to accept your help but there will be a reason, so keep your distance.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

Someone you have not seen for a while will come back into your life over the next few days. Whatever your relationship was like before it will be all smiles now as you remember all the good times you shared – while conveniently forgetting the bad!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

Try not to pay too much attention to matters of a material nature. Your financial status is of no great importance in the wider scheme of things, so put all thoughts of money out of your head and focus on creativity – and love what you are doing.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

You may be of the opinion that the best way to proceed is to tear down everything you have built and start again from scratch, but is that really necessary? Today’s Venus-Mars link warns against impetuous action. Think before you make your move.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

Even a Scorpio gets it wrong once in a while, so don’t think it’s a big deal just because you made a mistake of some kind. At the very least the situation should remind you that you are only human, just like everyone else.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You cannot live in fear of things that might happen in the future but most likely won’t. The world is full of people who spread doom and gloom news but you don’t have to be one of them. Be positive today and help others be positive too.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Work and career issues are going well for you now but don’t fall into the trap of thinking that you no longer have to make as much effort as you did before. You are only as good as your last success, so keep at it and keep making waves.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

The more certain people complain that you are making life difficult for them the more you can be sure that you are on the right track. The fact is your needs and their needs are at right angles to each other, so make sure your needs come first.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

If you have feelings for someone but they don’t know about it you may be tempted to open up and tell them today. That might be a mistake. Today’s Venus-Mars link suggests the response you get may not be to your liking. Leave it a while.
