IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You have come a long way over the past year or so and with a new moon on your birthday you will go even further over the coming 12 months. There is absolutely nothing you cannot do with your life – but it will pay you to be selective.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

What’s done is done and cannot be undone, so stop the regrets and the feeling sorry for yourself and get on with your life. Today’s new moon means you must come to terms with the past – then put it behind you once and for all.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You will say or do something controversial today and it is sure to annoy some people who think you have no right to speak or act that way. You have every right. In fact it’s your duty. The world needs people who are not afraid to be different.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

By all means stand up for what you believe, but don’t go to extremes and antagonize people just to prove how tough you can be. Give respect where respect is due and you’ll get plenty of respect in return. That’s the way the world works.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

Anyone who thinks you lack a sense of adventure won’t think it much longer. What you do today may mark you out as a bit of a maverick but better that than being someone who always blindly follows the rules. You’ll find you are appreciated more, too.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

You need to get to grips with your financial situation. To start with that means getting tough with yourself, in the sense that you have been much too wasteful of late. Then get tough with those who have been encouraging you. You no longer need them.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

You will draw closer to someone today and the benefits will be worth all that has happened over the past few weeks. You have endured a lot together and now you will enjoy life together. Partnerships of all kinds will go well for you now.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

If you are having troubling getting motivated on the work front take it as a sign that maybe you should be working on something else. If you can’t find the energy to get things done, just take it easy for a bit. Why exhaust yourself when you don’t have to?

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

Because today’s new moon falls in the most dynamic area of your chart you should have the courage and confidence to start something special. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so make it a good day – and a good life.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

It does not matter how many mistakes you have made or how many times you have failed, if you start something new today it is sure to succeed. You will also be amazed how easily problems become non-problems over the next few days.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Get out into the world and meet new people and visit new places. Don’t worry about work and money and family issues – they will take care of themselves in the fullness of time – your one and only aim now must be to have fun. You can do that!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

You need to stop comparing yourself to other people. Life is not a contest where the winner takes it all, and those who think that way are simply wrong. Set your own targets, based on your own desires, rather than what others think your desires should be.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

The world is full of possibilities and each and every one of them is up for grabs now. A new moon in your sign means you have first choice of all the good things that are available. You can’t have it all, but you can have the best!
