IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Do you know what it is you are hoping to achieve? If not you must take an hour or two out on your birthday and draw up a plan for the coming year. Don’t make it too rigid but don’t make it too vague either. Give yourself guidelines to follow.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

If someone says bad things about you today you must not get angry about it as that is precisely what they want you to do. Stay calm and show that even an assertive Aries type such as yourself can let insults pass over your head – this time.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You will be in no mood to suffer fools this weekend and that’s just as well. If their problem is just that they are stupid, well, there’s not much you can do about it, but if they are being deliberately obstructive you can give as good as you get.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

If you allow friends and family members to distract you over the next 48 hours you won’t get half as much done as you should have. You have so much going for you now but you cannot afford to be sidetracked by petty issues.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You don’t have to plan what you desire to do in any great detail because the planets will guide you. Just take that all important first step and soon you will be flying toward your primary objective as if you had wings on your feet.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

Why are you holding back from trying something new? Most likely it is because your sixth sense is telling you to take care and you know that your inner voice is rarely wrong. Don’t worry, an even better opportunity will come along very soon.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

You need to take control of your current situation rather than letting other people take control of you. Get your act together and let everyone know that from here on in, whether they like it or not, you are the one who is calling the shots.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Keep in mind the fact that there is good and bad in everyone. If you can do that this weekend you should be able to avoid the kind of confrontation in which no one comes out a winner. Strong feelings don’t have to result in strong actions.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

Think twice before you accept an offer of some kind this weekend, because the planets warn you may end up paying well over the going rate for what you get. Think clearly and logically and don’t let your emotions influence what you decide.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You will encounter quite a lot of negativity from other people over the next 48 hours and you must not let any of it rub off on you. Optimism is as much the key to your success now as it has always been, so greet life with a smile.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

You have never been the sort to rock the boat for the fun of it but at some stage this weekend you will most likely say and do a few things that bring looks of horror to the faces of those around you. It’s okay – they need shaking up!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

You seem to be on the winning side quite a lot of late, and that’s great, but you need to remember that winning isn’t everything. If you can help someone who is down on their luck then do so, even if it means a bit less glory for you.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

Decide on a course of action and stick to it. You have chopped and changed so much of late that no one knows where you are at the moment, and you probably don’t know yourself! Focus your energy in any direction but make it a single direction.
