IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A sun-Neptune link on your birthday will do wonders for your imaginative powers and no doubt you will dream up some weird and wonderful things, but don’t lose touch with reality. Remember it’s this world you still have to live in.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

At some stage today you will see or hear something that helps you look at life in a radically new way. Just a small change of perspective could lead to some massive insights about the world and what your role in it could and should be.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Make it your business to find out why a loved one is feeling so down, then make it your business to help them feel better. Most likely their problems are not really that big and can quite easily be corrected with a dose of common sense.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

If there is someone you have to interact with whose presence upsets your emotional balance there is no reason why you should stay around them. The sun in your birth sign endows you with boundless self-confidence, so get up and walk away.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You seem to lack a worthwhile objective at the moment but what happens between now and the new moon on the 13th will bring a new challenge, one that encourages you to use your imagination in ways which heighten your sense of purpose.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

Stay calm today and keep any setbacks that might occur in perspective. Also, learn how to laugh at yourself. If you start taking life a bit less seriously you will find that your problems don’t look anywhere near as dramatic as they do now.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

It does not matter if every one of the world’s seven billion people disapproves of what you are doing, the only thing that matters is that you believe in it. It’s not a numbers game – you don’t need the majority’s permission to follow the dictates of your heart.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

No matter how many negative things may be going on around you at the moment you must be positive in the way you choose to look at the world. The “out there” reality you experience is a reflection of what goes on inside your own head and heart.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

The obstacles you face may be formidable but you have never been the sort to back down or give up and have no intention of changing your ways now. What you lack in experience you will more than make up for in self-confidence today.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You may be tempted to cut yourself off from reality today but the universe won’t allow it. According to the planets you have major things to accomplish, things that will require you to get more, not less, involved in the external world.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Some things are important and some things are not and you need to be clear in your mind which is which. This could be and should be a productive time for you, so don’t waste your time and energy on trivial things, or trivial people.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

It may seem as if you are not getting the opportunities you deserve but don’t worry. There are things going on behind the scenes that will enable you to showcase your creative side around the time of next week’s new moon. Be patient.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

If you decide to go on a journey between now and the weekend make sure you plan your route well and don’t forget to tell others where you are going. You probably won’t need them to come and rescue you but it’s good to have a back-up.
