IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Your mind will move fast this year, thanks to the influence of Mercury in your sign, but other influences warn that you cannot always trust the thoughts that come into your head. Inspiration is important, of course, but so is checking the facts.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

Something you say or do today will come as a shock to many people but they should have seen the signs. For quite some time now you have been dropping hints that you are getting bored with your current situation. It’s time to liven things up!

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Try not to be so anxious about what is going on in your life. If you stand back from your experiences and strive to see the whole picture rather than just a few parts of it you will realize there is precious little to genuinely worry about.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

You must not let your anger get the better of you today because it will cause friends and work colleagues to drag their feet even more. Difficult as it may be you must strive to be patient with others. And try being patient with yourself as well.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

Approach what you have to do today with energy and enthusiasm, even if the benefits of what you accomplish go mainly to other people. You will do your reputation so much good that it won’t be long before you are the one calling the shots.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

Not everything you plan will work out the way you expected today but don’t let that stop you from pushing ahead. Even when things go a little off track you will still be moving ahead in roughly the right direction. It’s better than standing still.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

As Mercury, your ruler and planet of communication, makes a complex link to Jupiter, planet of exaggeration, today you must make doubly sure that what others tell you is correct. Don’t just take their word for it, do some serious checking for yourself.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Do you focus on trivial matters or do you focus on the wider picture? You have never been one to care much for details, so let others deal with the everyday stuff while you set your big brain to answering the big questions, the ones that really matter.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

You may be tempted to say things today merely to cause a reaction but that could be a serious mistake. Partners and loved ones are a bit more touchy than you realize and won’t take kindly to what they see as uncalled for provocation.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Others will come to you for advice today and, of course, you will do what you can to assist them. But you must also make it clear that you don’t possess any definitive answers. Ultimately, only they can make the decisions that influence their future.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

You may be tempted to come clean and admit to a loved one something that has been weighing on your mind, but is that such a good idea? What they don’t know can’t hurt them, so why risk an adverse reaction just to soothe your guilty conscience?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

The facts may point you in a particular direction today but if your instincts point you some place else it is your instincts you must follow. On the work front especially listen to what your inner voice tells you before you trust other people.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

The more others complain about what you are doing the more you will do it. You are in no mood to listen to those who never seem to do anything but see your actions in a negative light. Give as good as you get, then give some more!
