IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Do what you want to do over the coming 12 months, not what other people expect you to do. That may at times be easier said than done but if you show strength of character others will soon get the message that they cannot boss you about.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

You are more sensitive than most people give you credit for and feelings you have kept hidden deep inside you will burst out into the open today. Looking back you might be a bit embarrassed but there’s no reason to be. You’re only human.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Don’t get caught up in details because the planets indicate that you need to focus on the bigger picture. That applies as much to your personal life as it does to your work: Don’t let people pin you down to anything that limits your freedom of action.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

Try not to see everything you do in terms of winning and losing. If you relax more and let life come to you for a change the rewards will be greater than you could possibly imagine. You don’t have to constantly get one over on your rivals.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

With Venus, planet of harmony, moving through your sign you seem to be a lot more mellow of late and that’s good. Something unexpected, and probably not to your liking, will occur today but you won’t get even slightly uptight about it.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

Chances are not everything will run smoothly and according to plan today, so don’t expect too much of yourself or other people. Also, don’t let colleagues who are clearly jealous of your success say and do things which undermine you. Ignore them.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

You may not always be upfront about your feelings but what happens today will encourage you to open up and let the world know how passionate you can be. Just don’t come on too strong for your own good and frighten others away.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

You may have a lot on your mind at the moment but you should ignore the serious stuff for a while and focus on things that make you feel good about yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back for doing so much and doing it so well.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

Don’t make promises you are not sure you will be able to keep. The planets warn that the more you attempt to look ahead and predict what is going to happen the more likely it is that events will surprise you. Take it a day at a time.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

What occurs over the next few days will create opportunities to make some much needed cash. The only danger is that once you begin earning money you will start taking foolish risks again. Isn’t that how you lost it all in the first place?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

The planets are urging you to do something out of the ordinary, something that stirs things up a bit. It may not be in your nature to rock the boat but that is exactly what you should be doing now. It’s okay if some people fall out.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

You may be tempted to push yourself harder than ever but with Venus moving through the well-being area of your chart it might be smart to take things easy for a while. Give your mind and body time to recover from recent exertions.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

You seem amazingly passionate of late but the planets warn that whoever or whatever you are passionate about has the potential to surprise and mislead you, so make sure you keep your emotions in check. Don’t let your passions lead you astray.
