A blend of 80-per-cent grenache with 20-per-cent syrah, this red from producer Louis Bernard is inky-dark and thick and a tad loose in structure, displaying the big ripeness of a hot vintage. Rich, dark fruits, leather, pepper and lavender on a smooth texture. Available in Ontario.
