wine review

A red blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and malbec from the Bordeaux bargain district of Côtes de Bourg. Full-bodied and very dry, with astringent, furry tannins supporting flavours of cassis, cherry and spice along with an earthy essence in the background. Decant it if you can and serve with rich red meats. Worth cellaring for up to six years. Available in Ontario at the price below, $19.65 in Quebec.
